1. Little Port of Armeñine
It is a small secluded bay on the Costa Adeje that is widely used for first-time diving. El Puertito de Armeñine is a group of houses with an arch-shaped beach located in the middle of a bay.

The waters are calm and crystal clear, shallow and with the possibility of seeing large sea turtles. The immersion is very simple, it can be done from the beach of El Puertito or from a boat.
2. Garachico
If you want to dive and the weather is good, don't hesitate to go diving in Garachico. If the sea is rough, it is recommended that you leave diving for another day.
The Garachico Tunnel is the most characteristic of the area. It is a volcanic tunnel formed by eruptions that have occurred over time.

About 13 meters deep there is an opening in the rock. The descent is vertical and reaches a depth of 20 meters. Next, the tunnel becomes horizontal and you will be able to see all its marine fauna. When you go outside you can take a walk around the surroundings where there is a basalt arch. In this area you will also find the Cueva del Roque.
3. Wreck of Tabaiba
Tabaiba is located near the Puerto de Santa Cruz, an ideal place for wreck diving. The Tabaiba wreck is a sunken ship 25 meters deep that is known as El Peñón. In 2006 it was sunk to enrich the marine life of the area, promote scuba diving and create an attractive diving spot.

Access to its interior is easy and it is suitable for all types of diver. Inside the wreck there is a lot of marine life such as barracudas, octopuses, trumpet fish and moray eels.
4. The Cathedral
On the north coast of Tenerife in Puerto de la Cruz is La Catedral. Its dives are the best known on the island.
The Cathedral is a rocky hillside with basaltic arches, vaults and a 20-meter-high cave inside. This volcanic building has all the characteristics to be a submerged cathedral.

This dive is suitable only for advanced divers given its depth. The main dive is up to 20 meters deep. The most daring dare to descend walls up to 40 meters deep. During the descent you will be amazed by the amount of marine fauna that is in this area. You will be able to see gardens of gorgonians, locusts in the dark and murions.
5. Punta Rasca Lighthouse
Between Los Cristianos and Las Galletas is the Punta Rasca Lighthouse. El Faro is one of the best areas in the south of the island.
The dive can be done by any diver since there are different itineraries that adapt to each level. On the seabed you will find various species of fish such as rays or puffer fish. In addition, there are numerous easily accessible arches, tunnels and caves.

For divers with a higher level, they will be able to descend 50 meters and observe the rocky slopes that are hidden at the bottom. It is not necessary to go so deep to contemplate the coral forests and caves where different types of species and crustaceans are found.
6. Yellow Mountain
The Yellow Mountain is a yellow volcanic ash dune located on the Costa del Silencio. The departure for the dive is from the Las Galletas marina and the anchoring is in the Yellow Mountain. It has a depth of between 15 and 25 meters and any diver can do the dive, regardless of their level.

The mountain rises above the coast and continues under the sea where volcanic erosion has created peculiar volcanic forms and reefs. You can find all kinds of marine species such as eels, lobsters, crabs, trumpet fish, etc...
7. The Bufadero
It is located near Puerto de los Cristianos, south of Tenerife. The most spectacular thing about diving in El Bufadero is swimming with the turtles. The dive is easy, any diver of any level can do it.

An anchor is made on a rocky bottom 10 meters deep and that's where the adventure begins. You will be able to see turtles and a lot of rays on the seabed that usually approach divers.
