The sea permit brings together two types of permit:

- Coastal permit:

To obtain it, you will have to take a theoretical exam (20 QCM -type questions with four admitted errors) and a practical exam. The prices revolve around of 320, 350 €, and the payment of tax stamps for registration fees (between 90 and 100 €).

- The haughty permit:


The habiturier permit has only a theoretical examination and no practical exam, since it is already necessary to have the coastal permit to be able to pass it. It will allow you to be able to navigate without limits of distance, size or power.
The theoretical examination lasts 1 h 30 and is relatively demanding. You will have to be able to read the marine cards, to calculate your position, to know the specifics of the tides ... The prices are € 420 and the payment of tax stamps for the registration fees (around 40 €). />

  • The river permit


The river allowance will allow you to navigate in interior waters, such as rivers and channels. It will allow you to control ships up to 20 meters long. It can be obtained in extension of the coastal permit , or apart in a theoretical exam (30 QCM -type questions, 5 possible errors) and practical (port maneuvers).
