At 42, Darío Barrio had become a renowned chef with his own restaurant, the Dassa Bassa . It had a high reputation in the world of the kitchen being one of the greatest Spanish chefs. Yesterday I left us while I practiced jump b.a.s.e. in Jaén.

All his acquaintances agree that he had a strong personality and always had a smile on his face. He dedicated his whole life to do what he liked the most: live to the limit .

With 14 years he began his career between stoves and in 1995 he first launched parachute. It was only enough for him to realize that the need for adrenaline ran through his veins. From then on he began to jump whenever he could and became his best way to release daily stress.

As usually happens with the extreme athletes , the feeling of freedom when practicing their favorite sport makes them always want to go further. Darío Barrio lived as he wanted to live , he squeezed his life to the fullest and enjoyed a thousand experiences that he will surely have taken to a good collection. The delta wing, paratrooper or jump B.A.S.E. They are just some of the sports that he liked most to practice the cook.

In an interview for Yumping he said that " adrenaline asks you for more adrenaline" . One of the most spectacular jumps that Barrio made was the Salto del Ángel , in Venezuela, whichshared with the members of the Project Alas expedition. Without a doubt one of the best places for the practice of this activity.

In all his career he traveled through countless places, such as the aforementioned Venezuela, Switzerland, Italy, Norway ... and could experience the spectacular sensations; sensations that are only available to a few.

From here we wanted to pay tribute to the most extreme chef of our times. We want that, wherever I am, keep flying incessantly since, in your words " jumping it makes you feel alive" .
