Don't think about it anymore. If you've been thinking for a while that you want to do bungee jumping... do it! The best adventures are not thought out. But of course, first you have to choose carefully the place where you want to do it and how you want to do it, because did you know that there are different types of bungee jumping?
The main difference lies in the type of rope used for both bungee jumps, which can be static (which is the most common) or elastic, causing the best adrenaline rushes. In Spain, luckily for the most daring, you can find almost anywhere in the country a spectacular place to practice bungee jumping with experts. Here you can see the best bungee jumping offers in our country.

This type of bungee jumping is the most common to do, especially if it is the first time you are going to practice this sport. Just because it is the most classic modality does not mean that the adrenaline rush is less, quite the opposite! When you are before your first bungee jump, the sensation will be unrepeatable.
The technical detail that most differentiates this technique is the rope to which you are attached. This is static, with one end attached to the bridge and the other to your body, generally to the feet. Once you jump into the void the movement you make is pendular (hence the name) exerting a centrifugal force similar to that of a giant swing, depending on the width of the bridge more than the height how much you manage to stay on. movement during the fall.
You can jump forward or challenge yourself even further and do it backwards! If you already dare to jump into the void, doing so without knowing what lies ahead is inexplicable.
Bungee Jumping

Also known as goming, this type of bungee jumping may be the most extreme that exists. The vacuum jump is performed through an elastic rope, in fact there are multiple rubber bands, capable of stretching up to 400% more than its initial size. Your body is in continuous rebound, exerting a vertical force of gravity and down until the ropes reach their maximum elongation (depending on your weight) until they progressively decelerate until you are suspended from the crane or platform that you have jumped:
But as in everything, "curling the loop" in bungee jumping is also possible and there are three subcategories with which you can push yourself to the limit:
- Springboard. In this type of jump, the elastic ropes are attached to a trampoline, allowing you to rise much higher when jumping into the void.
- Catapult. It may be the most extreme bungee jump of all. Your body is launched with a "catapult" from a crane causing you to be launched an incredible distance. Your body in this case is held by harnesses throughout the trunk.
- Ramp. You launch yourself into the void using skis, a bicycle or a sled from a ramp.
Now that you know all the types of bungee jumping that exist, which one are you going to opt for? We recommend that you try as many as possible because we can't think of a better way to see the world than by jumping from the highest bridges and structures.
