Airsoft characteristics

 On the airsoft battlefield

  • Weapons of 11 mm caliber are used.
  • Plastic pellets are fired and are propelled by CO2.
  • The weapons are replicas of the real ones.
  • The impacts of the pellets, being through smaller caliber markers, hurt less (or even not at all) than, for example, in paintball.
  • Does not stain.
  • You must be an honest player and recognize when you have been hit by an opponent. You expose yourself to being kicked out of the game.
  • The battlefields in airsoft are usually larger, which gives rise to greater realism within the battle.
  • Their protective equipment and accessories are very similar to military ones, giving more realism even to the airsoft game.

Paintball characteristics

 Paintball player with the marker

  • Markers with a 68 mm caliber are used.
  • Paintballs are shot and explode upon impact with a player.
  • The markers are larger than a real weapon.
  • In paintball you get stains since paintballs are used paint.
  • The impact of a paintball is generally not very painful (and much less dangerous) but it can cause bruising in certain areas.
  • Due to the previous point, your protective equipment goes from your head to your ankles to avoid any type of unwanted accident. They will make it easy for you on the playing field.
  • It is very difficult to cheat in a paintball game because if a paintball hits you it stays on your overalls.
  • There are multiple types of battlefields for paintball. It depends on the company, but you can find paintball fields with very different themes.
