Starting next July 6 you can take advantage of the opportunity to learn about one of the most important events of hot air balloons, where the company Globus Kon-Tiki is one of those in charge of the organization.
Igualada hosts the European Balloon Festival for the fifteenth time, where more than 40 balloons, both nationally and internationally, will perform competition and exhibition flights.
Visitors will be able to witness exhibitions, concerts, night flights with luminous balloons, fireworks... Everything is prepared so that the fun is not lacking because, in addition, the Anoia Tourism Exhibition will show all the activities that can be done in the area.
This concentration is the most important in our country and, at a European level, it is very well considered. More than 25,000 spectators will witness the pilots' maneuvers. Are you going to miss it?
If you go, you cannot miss the opportunity to help inflate a hot air balloon, as it is quite an experience. You fly early in the morning or late in the afternoon, since at these times the weather conditions are more suitable: there are no air currents that could influence the flight.
But will you be able to fly during the competition? Of course! You will only have to book your flight and let the pilot guide you on the day you choose, between July 6 and 10.
