Adventure sports are a great opportunity to say goodbye to stress and live life in a different way. The actor Fernado Cayo knows this well, whom we can currently see on the small screen playing the Count of Miranda in the series Toledo, crossover of destinations. We also interviewed her co-star Paula Cancio (you can see the interview here).

The actor from Valladolid has a long career since he began his career in the world of acting back in 1998 with a role in the Antena 3 series Manos a la trabajo. Since then he has not stopped working in film, television and theater, which has earned him awards such as best actor at the Toulouse Film Festival or acting awards at different festivals such as Zaragoza or Pilas, among others. .
But not only that, but between papers he also has time to practice adventure sports, such as diving, climbing or mountain biking.

Yumping.- Have you practiced any extreme sports?
Fernando Cayo.- Yes, I have practiced several: paragliding, climbing, scuba diving, canyoning and mountain biking.
And.- What adventure sport would you like to try?
F.C.-Of all things, skydiving is my pending subject.
And.- Which one would you never dare to do?
F.C.- With underwater caving, being in a cave underwater gives me too much respect...

Y.- Do you dedicate your free time to any hobbies?
F.C.-I like to walk in the countryside and when I have a little time go hiking with my wife, my daughter and my dog. The bicycle also oxygenates me a lot, I live in the countryside and I take advantage of any time to get outdoors; It is essential in my life, I learned to enjoy it from my parents with whom we went on many trips to the countryside and I want to pass it on to my daughter. Contact with nature is one of the brightest things in life.
And.- What are your usual ways to release adrenaline?
F.C.- In the rehearsal room I have at home I put on music and dance, release adrenaline and connect with my body by meditating and doing yoga and anything that connects me with my breathing and my body. Sweating on the bike also liberates me a lot.
And.- Do you think people should practice more adventure sports?
F.C.- Of course it is a way to connect with a human group, unite with nature and "dezombify" ourselves from so much bad news, manipulation, routine and pessimism.

And.- What is the most exciting thing you have done in your life?
F.C.- Having a daughter (laughs). And as for extreme sports, my first paragliding outing on the cliffs of Lima-Peru: I saw myself hanging, hovering quite high above the sea... What a rush! I loved it!
And.- Sports on land, sea or air?
F.C.- Because of the emotion you find, I prefer the air; for ease of practicing them on land and for charm at sea.
And.- Would you practice extreme sports with friends or a partner?
F.C.-I prefer to practice them with people, because that is how it is most enjoyable, it is a social experience for me. But if I'm traveling abroad or there is no opportunity, I don't mind practicing them alone.
And.- What extreme sport would you surprise someone with?
F.C.- A good paragliding ride in a beautiful place.

A huge hug full of love and energy to all the friends of Yumping!
