1. San Juan Reservoir

The San Juan Swamp is located 50 kilometers from the center of Madrid, a huge swamp surrounded by pine forests.
In the swamp you can do water activities such as canoeing, water skiing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and flyboarding. You can also take a bath if you prefer.

2. Buendía Reservoir

This reservoir is located between the provinces of Guadalajara and Cuenca. The waters of the reservoir come from the Guadiela River and are part of the Sea of ​​Castilla.

3. Valmayor Reservoir

It is a reservoir belonging to the Guadarrama basin, in Valdemorillo. It also passes through El Escorial and Colmenarejo.
In the swamp you can practice sailing, rowing, windsurfing, canoeing, fishing and wakeboarding, perfect activities to practice in summer while enjoying the landscape and nature.

4. Orellana Reservoir

It is a reservoir on the Guadiana River in the province of Badajoz and is known as Costa Dulce de Extremadura.
In this reservoir, water sports are practiced such as windsurfing, sailing or canoeing. Fishing is also allowed and there is the possibility of renting jet skis. Check out all kayak options here.

5. Proserpina Swamp

Known as"La Charca", it is the oldest reservoir in Spain. It is located in the archaeological complex of Mérida. It is a quiet swamp that is built on the bed of the Pardillas River.
The main water activities that can be done in the swamp are canoeing and fishing. In summer it is a very busy place.

6. Nettle Swamp

The reservoir, also known as the Embalse González Lacasa, is located between the mountains of la Demanda, Urbión, Cebollera and Cameos, inLa Rioja.

7. Iznájar Reservoir

The Iznájar reservoir is located in the bed of the Genil River, in the province of Córdoba. It is the largest reservoir in Andalusia.

8. Entrepeñas Reservoir

It is located in Guadalajara, in the middle of the Tajo River in the region of La Alcarria. They offer a lot of water activities such as rafting or in this swamp such as: flyboard, wake boarding, water skiing, canoeing and sailing. They can be done at any time of the year, but the best season is in summer.

9. Lanuza Reservoir

It is a natural area in the southern area of thePyrenees of Huesca, in the Valle de Tena. This reservoir collects the waters of the Gállego River and other torrents descending from the mountain.
