Have you heard about Madrid Beach? Located in the capital of Spain, it is one of the most impressive places in the city. Many people go there in the summer, whether they are from Madrid or tourists, as it is ideal to cool off. Some events are held throughout the year, especially during the summer, making this a unique setting to welcome any of the sports aquatic elements present in our lives.

And so it was last weekend when Madrid became Tarifa for a few hours: barbecue, live music, perfect sunset with the sea in the background... Without a doubt the essence of Cádiz was establishing itself during that night of summer. The sports complex was decorated down to the smallest detail with a giant screen that broadcast the Tarifa sunset live.

The presenter Christian Gálvez

Christian Gálvez was in charge of presenting the event and declared himself a fan of adventure sports, although He claimed not to have practiced kitesurf, the star sport of the evening, but he did intend to try some tricks. He was accompanied by Carolina Castillo, Marketing Director of Diageo Whiskeys, pointing out that J&B has always supported trend sports, first with beach volleyball and now with the turn of kiteboarding.

Kitesurfing, characterized by being a fresh, dynamic sport, with energy and passion, fits perfectly not only with the venue of the event but also with the spirit of J&B, "young , daring and innovative" in the words of Carolina Castillo. Without a doubt the perfect combination between sport and brand.

One of the highlights of the night was accompanied by the presence of the kitesurfer Álvaro Onieva, one of the leaders of this sport not only nationally but also internationally. He appeared providing spectacular images while surfing and flying over the waters of the pools at the Playa de Madrid Sports Complex with his kite equipment.

The Scottish brand and the tour it sponsors this summer, the "J&B Masters of Kite", will have the honor of receiving the best kitesurfers on the international scene, which will include, as it could not be otherwise, the same Álvaro Onieva and Álex Pastor, another of the promises of the Spanish scene. Both will compete in a championship that will bring together the twelve best kitesurfers in the world. world, enjoying the two best venues that our geography can have: Bahía de Roses (Girona) and Tarifa (Cádiz).

 The kitesurfer Álvaro Onieva

The reason why these provinces have been chosen is because they meet all the necessary requirements for a great day of kiting: wind and sea. In fact, these spots are classified as "High Performance Centers" for kitesurfing and as a consequence the level of the kiters is very high.

You can't miss this healthy, sporty and surfing summer that comes from J&B, as there will be parties in Catalonia, Madrid and Andalusia, where the raffles and kitesurf courses, accompanied by many other activities, will be present.
