Lijar Sur is a company specialized in aerial sports such as paragliding and paramotoring. For a few years they have organized concentrations where all the pilots of these modalities meet and perform all types of flights and acrobatics.
The XV Concentration of the club in Algodonales will be held on October 9 and 10, during the weekend. As the 12th is a national holiday, you have a long weekend that you can take advantage of to visit Cadiz lands. Go to Andalusia and enjoy a guaranteed exhibition ideal for having fun with friends or family.
The years 2008 and 2009 had generous attendance and they hope that this year will be the same or even better, if possible. Along with registration, you will receive a t-shirt, tickets to the bar and a great day of fun is guaranteed.
This year they have the presence of Raúl Rodríguez, who holds the world record for paragliding acrobatics, so it will be a luxury to see how he displays his talent through the Andalusian skies. You can also enjoy Los Malaguitas, three brothers who are included in the national ranking of paragliding acrobatics pilots, as well as other champions of this modality. For its part, the paramotor will have the presence of Dani Martínez with his tryke.
Representatives of popular brands such as Niviuk, Skiwalk, Advance, ITV and RR, among others, will be present. They will present their candles to you so you can try them without obligation and thus check the quality of their materials. Likewise, you will be able to enjoy many new features, among which the first mountain race in the usual flying area stands out: the X - Mountain of the Sierra de Líjar. This time it is done in pairs in which one of the participants has to run to the top while their partner waits at the take-off point. Once you fly down you have to score on a target, making it an ideal test for both pilots and those who are not dedicated to paragliding.
On the other hand and as an innovation to say that there will be paramotor pilots as well. But on this occasion and to avoid possible risks, they will take off from a runway other than the usual area for paragliders. A route will be organized around Algodonales, ending at the concentration landing if conditions permit.
If you want to enjoy a concentration in which, if the numbers from the previous edition, there will be about 600 participants (180 pilots) and numerous activities: lifts, concerts and, as it could not be otherwise, a great flying atmosphere. Keep in mind that the organization is run by a group of friends who have known each other for a long time, so you can go with complete confidence: the experience couldn't be better.
