
The Veral River is a river that originates in Zuriza, in the province of Huesca, and flows into the Aragón River passing through the towns of Berdún and Ansó strong>.
The river begins in Zuriza and crosses the Ansó valley until it reaches the municipality of Villarreal de la Canal. There are different activities to enjoy the river, but the star activities are canoeing and rafting, among others.

The sections where you can raft are:
1.Rafting in Foz Verde
In this section you will be able to see a canyon of green, crystalline water. It is one of the most beautiful descents in the Pyrenees through limestone walls.
The section is divided into three parts: in the first the canyon is narrow and has a more complicated area, the second part is similar to the previous one; and the last part is a more open section and has easy rapids.

It has a distance of 5 kilometers with a level 3 difficulty. The best time to do the descent is in the winter and spring months. The estimated duration is approximately 2 hours.
2.Rafting in the Ansó Valley
The Ansó Valley is a valley formed by two towns, Ansó and Fago. This valley was declared Western Valleys Natural Park and is perfect to visit in summer as it has a cool and pleasant atmosphere. Its landscape has been created during these years by the flow of water.
The best time to do the descent is in spring since you will be able to contemplate the green of the countryside and the snow of the mountains.

3.Rafting in Zuriza
It is a very beautiful stretch at the bottom of the valley. The riverbed is very flat and navigable. It is divided into two parts, the first section has little channel and a small slope. This section is known for"El Paso delShoulder", an area with large riverbeds. The second part ends at the"Salto de la trout", it is a simple section with unevenness.

It has a distance of 10 kilometers and a level 4-5 of difficulty. The estimated duration of the tour is approximately 2-3 hours. The best time is in the months of March, April and May.
The Aragón Subordán River is a tributary of the Aragón River in the province of Aragón.
It begins in the Sierra Bernera and crosses the Oza jungle, where the well-known gorge "Boca del Infierno" is located, and the Echo Valley, passing through the towns of Hecho, Embún, Javierregay and Puente la Reina de Jaca strong>.
The river has a length of 50 kilometers and flows into the Aragón River at Puente la Reina. Its largest tributary is the Osia River.

The best season to do the descent is in the months of March, April and May since the spring rains make the descent much easier and ideal for rafting.
It has 33 kilometers of descent and the river has 3 sections with different difficulties: the Alto Subordán, Canyon Rojo and Classic.
