1. Cala El Racó
This cove is located in the port ofCalpe, where we can find the Peñón de Ifach. The route in this cove runs parallel to the breakwater and is very well signposted. It is one of the perfect coves for snorkeling in Alicante.
You will be able to observe its deep seabed in its crystal-clear waters just a few meters from the shore. There is an underwater arch and you can even see starfish.

It has easy access, is very cozy and familiar. Thanks to the transparent water you will be able to observe great marine fauna.
2. Cala Granadella
It is in the ranking of the best beaches for snorkeling on the Costa Blanca and is considered the third best beach in Spain. It is an ideal cove for practicing water sports such as snorkeling, scuba diving and canoeing.
The Cala Granadella is a 160-meter space that has a horseshoe shape completely surrounded by rocks and is located between Xábia and Moraire.

It is ideal for snorkeling due to its accessibility, its routes, its large seabed and its crystal-clear turquoise waters. To the left of the beach, facing the sea, the snorkeling route begins. On the right side of the beach there is also an area where you can swim and dive, as we find a small rock mass.
3. Cala Tío Ximo
The Cala del Tío Ximo is located in Benidorm, it is a small and quiet cove that has a length of 70 meters and a width of 6 meters. It is a cove of pebbles located in theSerra Gelada Natural Park.
The cove has good accessibility, it is made up of fine sand and crystal clear waters. It has a circular route around the cove where you can enjoy the marine fauna found in its waters. It is a perfect place to practice this sport.
4. Tabarca Island
TheIsland of Tabarca was the first marine reserve in Spain. And it is ideal for diving. This island is 2 kilometers long and is an ideal place for diving or snorkeling.

5. Queen's Baths, El Campello
These artificial pools carved into the rock are located in Calpe, Alicante. Currently it is a busy place to practice snorkeling, diving or jumping. You can dive from one pool to another and observe the beautiful seabed it has. Also in its surroundings you can snorkel and see the fish that live there.

6. Cala del Metge
Cala del Metge is one of the coves located near the Punta Albir lighthouse, within the Sierra Gelada Natural Park.
Its access is complicated (you enter by walking along a path), but this makes the cove much more worth visiting. Due to its low influx, it is the ideal place to practice snorkeling and see its beautiful seabed between the rocks. The water is crystal clear and transparent.
7. La Caleta
It is a small cove located in Villajoyosa, with a length of 160 meters and a width of 30 meters. It is very little traveled, making it an ideal place for water sports.

In Villajoyosa you can do 6 snorkeling routes, and one of them is the route inLa Caleta. Visitors can snorkel and observe the marine fauna of this cove. You can't miss it, you will see the most spectacular and colorful fish you have ever seen.
