Flying parascending in Pontevedra
One of the activities that I have done a couple of times in Pontevedra, specifically in Sanxenxo, is parasailing. The reason is because thanks to its practice you release adrenaline, enjoy incredible views and you can share it with whoever you want.
Parascending, parasailing or parasailing in Spanish is a summer activity in which you are held with a harness in the back of a boat or a boat while you are tied to a parachute specially designed for this sport. The boat accelerates and you begin to rise into the air and move away from the boat.
If the boat is powerful enough, it can carry two or three people at the same time, in this case they leave up to three people together if the third is a small child, so you can fly as a family.
In this activity you have little or no control over the parachute, for your part you just have to enjoy the activity and the views of the entire coast!
I have tried this activity twice, the first time alone to see what the sensation was like and the second time accompanied by my partner.
Although on the first occasion I went higher, since there was less weight, when I flew with my partner it was quite windy and that made the activity more fun since it moved more and we discharged a lot of adrenaline!
The two times I have flown in Parascending have been with the company "Ocio Náutico Sanxenxo", as its name indicates, it is located on the Galician beach of Silgar, in Sanxenxo, Pontevedra.

This activity that they carry out in Sanxenxo it is unique in all of Galicia, so you cannot miss trying it. The price of the activity is approximately €60 if you fly alone, and if you fly two it costs around €40 each (although it will depend on the company you do the activity with).
The duration is around 30-40 minutes, plus from the port until they prepare everything on the high seas you will enjoy a ride at high speed in their speedboat, you will fly over the waves of the Galician coast!
