Our story starts back in June 1994 with Gary Ellson. He pursued his dream of having a training school after following a career in the Coastguard Agency, where he earned his helicopter license. We were formerly known as Bournemouth Helicopters, and after our bespoke and outstanding services, we've become the top-leading company for pleasure flights in the area.

We operate at the Bournemouth Airport. Our original fleet included Robinson R22s, Bell206 Jet Rangers and Gazelles, changing them for a Schweizer 300 and R44 aircraft through the years. We believe in delivering a top-tier experience with a personal approach to our customers.

You can experience helicopter and aeroplane flights. We include trial lessons, training, pleasure flights, charter and self-fly hire. Our staff has experienced pilots who are passionate about what they do and are happy to share that passion with anyone interested in learning how to pilot an aircraft.

Bliss Aviation Helicopters is a company established in June 1994. We are a premium school and pleasure-flight provider operating at Bournemouth Airport.

We offer great possibilities for flying enthusiasts, such as:

• Self-fly Hire.
• Helicopter training, in which a professional and specialized pilot will teach you all you need to fly a helicopter. You will be a pilot in command for recreational purposes, but it doesn't entitle you to fly for commercial gain.
• Pleasure flights, where we take you to get the best perspective of Dorset.
• Trial Lessons to give the first step into professional training.

Join the club and be part of the family, which allows you to use all the facilities and our helicopter fleet. We also have vouchers to treat the people you love with our flights.

We work with the R44 and the Schweizer 300 aircraft. We also have the Eurocopter EC120 helicopter. We use it for Charter and Type conversion training.
