The Château Thierry Aeroclub invites you to discover the sky in a privileged way...
This association has been dedicated to promoting the practice of aviation, particularly among young people, since 1933. Its members are all passionate about aeronautics and wish to pass on their love for air sports to you through various activities suitable for everyone. :
- First Flights: lasting 12 to 25 minutes, these first flights will allow you to fly around the Castelle city or a little further...The planes of the flying club can accommodate up to 3 passengers. Why not come and share this experience with family, friends or colleagues!
- Discovery Flight: before embarking on pilot training, come and experience an introduction to airplane piloting through this unique formula. After a 30-minute briefing, you will take off for a flight of approximately 45 minutes in the left seat in the company of an instructor from the center.
- Flight School: the Château Thierry Aeroclub is a training organization approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and is authorized to train student pilots for the Obtaining the Basic Certificate (BB) or the Private Pilot License (PPL).
Are you already a pilot? Why not come and take a local flight with your family or friends aboard a plane from the center! All members of the association can freely book the plane.
- Travel: finally, some licensed pilots regularly organize trips to visit France or Europe in a privileged way.
