Satorrak Espeleología, a company located in Iruña, has extensive experience of almost thirty years in the world of caving.

We have collaborated, since 1974, first with the Príncipe de Viana Institution and then with the geology department of the Provincial Council of Navarra in the creation of the Speleological Catalog of Navarra and the study of karst areas.

We are members of the Union of Basque Speleologists (UEV) since its origins.
Among the most important research works that we have carried out we can highlight:
Study of the Larra karst on which work has been going on since the 1980s, with the exploration of large chasms such as BU-56, one of the deepest depths in the world. In this massif we have collaborated with other groups from Euskalherria as well as from other countries (AN3, B3, BU56, AN-8 chasms...).

• Study of the Aralar mountain range, mainly in the Aitzarreta spring basin, in which work has been going on for more than twenty years and cavities of great interest have been discovered such as the Amutxate chasm, where one of the best cave bear sites in southern Europe, currently under study.

• Karst zones of Aezkoa and Salazar. Study of cavities of development and important depth in massifs such as Remendia, Garralda or Abodi-Berrendi. Araxes Karst: Azpiroz, Huici and Aldaz areas

• In addition, in 1991 we participated together with the Union of Basque Speleologists and Venezuelan speleologists in the expedition to the Mesa Turik Karst in Venezuela.
