Tips if you are going to do Climbing in France

Rock climbing is gaining more and more popularity. Although you may think it is an extreme sport since it requires good physical condition and use of techniques, it has won the hearts of many people in France. This is because it allows everyone to push their limits, develop their techniques and often helps build self-confidence. That's not all, we list you five other reasons why you need to try this sport at least once in a lifetime. After reading, this will be an activity you would be intrigued to try, whether it is free climbing (wall or boulder), ice climbing or mountaineering. Let's see together:

1. To overcome the fear of heights and dizziness



It may seem paradoxical, but rock climbing is the remedy for it. We say remedy since you can choose your session by starting with an easy level. Gradually with small steps, you face your fear. You will find that your focus will be on the next step to reach the top rather than the distance to the ground. Therefore, we advise you to consult our offers and select the package that you find appealing. To begin rock climbing, choose the route that is easy and gradually progress towards the highest levels. Even if you opt to climb alone, you will find other enthusiasts and make plenty of friends. You are sure to forge lasting bonds with the other participants who encourage you to go higher and further and to give it your best. You can also form a group to challenge yourself and make your experience even more memorable. The adrenaline will push you to your limits, and you will find yourself doing acrobatic movements that will give you the feeling of unparalleled freedom!

3. Climbing is accessible to everyone



As mentioned before, climbing is a sport that is divided into different levels, so you can do it at any age since there are several levels. The minimum age to begin rock climbing is 4 or 6 years old for rope rooms or introductory lessons. Children and adults can derive great benefits from it both psychosocial and psychomotor such as: challenging oneself, empowerment, self-confidence, problem-solving, overcoming obstacles, better observation and analytical skills, creativity, etc! Adults are free to choose the course that suits them, from beginner to top of the expert level.

4. To strengthen your body and mind



There is no climbing without a mind that is set on the objectives to be achieved. That said, you must stay focused on the stages of your progress by controlling your actions because the wrong move will land you where you started, and you will have to begin from scratch. Thus, you have to derive a plan to make steady progress and follow through with perseverance. There are several methods of progression: static, dynamic, heel hook, compression, etc., but you can choose the ones that suit you best, or you can innovate by creating the one you want by observing, analyzing the terrain to be climbed. All this requires physical effort. The muscles of the arms, abdominals, legs and back are put to use, and you burn calories in the process. The body becomes more resistant, and your muscles surprisingly take shape.

5. You are in close contact with nature



During an outdoor climbing session, you are in contact with nature, and you use the rocks to reach the top, and enjoy the beautiful landscape. This is why it is recommended not to leave any damage to the rocks as an imprint of magnesia or other stains that can damage nature.
