Description of Caving initiation in the Community of Madrid
If you live in Madrid, it is not necessary for you to travel far to enjoy your first caving experience.
We will go to an exclusive cave located 65 kilometers from the capital, close to the town of Patones, the meeting point. The underground route is easy level, so it is perfect for you to get started in this discipline.
We will bring all the technical equipment you need for the activity: harness, helmet, headlamp and jumpsuit.
To advance through the cave, there will be sections in which we will have to crawl and slide on the ground.
You will discover a spectacular world, hidden by darkness and silence.
Our professional guide will talk to you about the formation process of the cave, and will tell you many curiosities about the interior.
For this activity, you need acceptable physical fitness (it is not necessary to be in very good shape, but keep in mind that you will have to crawl, go through narrow places, etc.).
Bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Even if you are wearing overalls on top, you are going to get stained and wet, keep this in mind when choosing clothes!
We recommend bringing a small backpack for delicate objects (cell phones, glasses, etc.).
