Climbing initiation day Le Joncas

Discover the practice of climbingin the Hérault with our great instructor. Regardless of your level or physical condition, we invite you all (from 6 years old) to participate in an initiation to explore the joys of mountain climbing.
This activity is the ideal opportunity to face your fears or apprehensions. You will be supervised by a state-certified specialist. Your activity will take place in complete safety. Our guide will be there to guide you and share his best advice. He listens very well and will put you at ease so that you feel comfortable carrying out the workshops for this activity.

First, he will welcome you and you will be able to discover the equipment with him. You will then learn how to use it correctly. You will therefore assimilate thebelaying and safety techniques. Our instructor will show you the technical gestures you need to know to climb these magnificent cliffs. Everything is organized so that you progress at your own pace between group advice and personal recommendations.

The most important thing for us is that you experience a magical moment. Everything will be put in place to offer you a pleasant and fun experience. When you arrive at the initiation site, you will discover the specificities of the cliffs in front of you in order to better tame them. After a briefing, you can quickly equip yourself and start practicing under the attentive and caring eyes of your instructor. It is essential to operate in order to learn, which is why this activity is based more on practice than on theory.

The initiation takes place on the Joncas site in Montpeyroux. You can easily reach us from Béziers, Montpellier and Nîmes.

This is a discovery course, so you will not need to purchase any materials. We will provide you with everything you need (slippers, harness, helmet, ropes, quickdraws , carabiners, etc.). You will only need to take a small backpack for your belongings, comfortable sports clothing, water and a picnic.
