Over the course of 1 hour you will take a tour along the paths of Buitrago de Lozoya, accompanied by our instructor, passing along the banks of the Lozoya River to head towards the summits of the Sierra Norte de Madrid.
A great route to do as a family, with children over 10 years old, because the route is designed for beginners!
You will go out together with our professional guide, who will set the pace and help you at all times. In addition to giving you an explanation on how to ride, you will ride on the back of horses that know the way and are trained to ride with inexperienced people!

Buitrago de Lozoya is a corner with history as it preserves the trenches that were built during the Civil War. It is also a beautiful natural space thanks to El Pinar and the Río de Lozoya. Located in the Middle Lozoya Valley and at the foot of Somosierra, we will gallop to its medieval wall. We will visit the 14th century Castle that is located in the historic center of the municipality. We will also stop by the Clock Tower, the Riosequillo Reservoir and the Church of Santa María del Castillo.
Our route has a low-medium difficulty. Therefore, a priori, no previous experience in the equestrian world is required. Of course, follow the wise advice of our team of instructors, who do master the art of horse riding.

If you are traveling to Spain and want to go horseback riding this is the place to go!
I've gone twice so far and recommend it to all my family/friends traveling to Spain. They let you ride freely (gallop, etc) and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. The horses are well-trained and taken care of.
The guides are very kind and helpful if you need any tips for riding or questions. If you want a truly unique and awesome experience of horseback riding in the mountains this is the place to go.
I would recommend a 2 hr ride since you make it to a lake in the mountains :) I will be coming back here the next time I travel to Spain.
