You've never done paraglidingand you want to take the plunge? For your first time, what could be better than flying over Lake Annecy?
During this 15-minute paragliding baptism, you will fly above one of the most beautiful sites in Europe! Lake Annecy has turquoise water and is surrounded by mountains. The latter is the second lake in France of glacial origin. It offers a dream setting that you will have the chance to admire from the air!
You will leave just above the Col de la Forclazlocated in the commune of Talloires-Montmin, at more than 1000 meters above sea level. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains. Our structure will take you to takeoff because it has privileged access.
Once you arrive at the flight site located precisely Route de la Plaine in Doussard, your instructor will give you a shortbriefing /strong>. After that, you will head to the takeoff location at the Col de la Forclaz, where you will gain momentum during a short run in order to inflate the sail in gaining speed. Little by little, your feet will lift off the ground and you will find yourself in the air in a few seconds!
This is a very gentle activity where the average speed is 40km/h. The landing is at the Doussard site, located south of the lake.

Please note:
- For those accompanying you, you can go up to the pass by car, then you will walk 10 minutes before arriving at the take-off site.
- It is recommended to wear sneakers, sunglasses and a windbreaker.
- All the equipment meets EN standardsand the paraglidersare the latest ones released.
- Your pilot has a rescue parachute for the passenger and himself.

How long the activity lasts
- This paragliding baptism above Lake Annecy lasts between10 and 15 minutes.
When your activity starts and finishes
- The paragliding initiations are ideally carried out in the morning. Once the reservation has been made, we invite you to contact your instructor who will inform you of the exact time of the flight.
