Description of RYA Powerboat Level 1 Course Frome River 1 Day

Challenge yourself to try new things and activities by booking our RYA Powerboat Course. We run our Level 1 courses for complete beginners. We promise it will be a fun way to keep you in action as you acquire new skills in the water.

You don't need previous experience to join us. We run our sessions on the River Frome and its surroundings. During your course, you'll need new topics and abilities, including:

Launch and Recovery
Boat and personal preparation
Leaving and coming alongside
Awareness of other water users, among other things.

We require a minimum of eight years old to participate. We will provide all the necessary equipment so you can enjoy your powerboat course at its finest. Please allow one hour to learn without a hurry. We have a ratio of 1:3, meaning you can come with two other friends or loved ones.
