We are one of the premier Charter Boats in Whitby, offering Wreck, Reef, & Charter Angling Trips. Whitby is rich in history and is a very picturesque part of the UK to explore.

Services

We off the following from our base at Whitby Port:

• Taster trips - 3 hours long and perfect for anyone who wants to try fishing, and great for families. Fishing tackle will be provided.
• Wreck and reef trips - 8 or 10 hour trips. Rod and reels are loaned out free of charge.
• Winter uptiding for cod - 8 hour trips that we run from November to April

The Boat

Our boat, Never Can Tell - A, is a traditional fishing vessel, built in Whitby.

The wheelhouse is offset, great for fishing as it allows anglers to fish along the full length of the vessel. She also has more usable deck space than any other Whitby charter boat of this length, and more than on some even longer vessels.

She carries state of the art electronics onboard, including:

• Two GPS receivers with differential correction facility, producing better than 2 metre accuracy
• Koden professional colour fish finder
• Koden radar
• Robertson automatic pilot

The radar, GPS and pilot are all interfaced together.

The Skipper

Your skipper, Jon Whitton, has a wealth of angling experience, especially in the waters around Whitby, and will provide you with expert advice to make sure you get the most out of your trip.
