Welcome to The Borders Gliding Club!
We are situated in Millfield, near to the Northumberland National Park and conveniently located within an easy driving distance of both Newcastle and Edinburgh. We are located in a beautiful area, and gliding is the perfect way to experience the amazing views on offer.
We welcome everyone to our club, even if you haven´t experienced gliding before you can come along and experience the exhilarating feeling for the first time with one of our qualified instructors, who will take you up in one of our modern gliders. You will even have the chance to handle the controls if you want to, or just sit back and enjoy the unforgettable experience. If you would like to continue flying after your trial, we can provide full training so you can learn to fly solo. Become a professional, or enter a new world with a new hobby, with the best instructive pilots in the UK!
