Ranch el Picadero

At the Ranch El Picadero Società Agricola, breeding and HORSE TOURISM centre, thepassion for horses is immense, horse riding for us is a time to relax and have fun together with them fantastic animals, discovering suggestive and enchanting landscapes.

We are open all year round, and with the guidance of our staff you will have the opportunity to carry out the following activities:

• simple walks on the lakefor half an hour or a maximum of 1 hour for beginners
• 2-hour walksfor those who already have a fair amount of experience
• trekking of 1 or more days for the more experienced
• short walks and lessons for the little ones with our pony TEA
• country and western riding lessons with our qualified instructor
• training and re-education of your horse
• board for your horse even for short periods

We invite all people who already own a horse to come and visit usto enjoy new exciting adventures accompanied by thefriends of the El Picadero Ranch, but if you don'thave your own horse,Gianluca and Rossanawill make those from the riding school available to you.

The center is located in a strategic position on the Pian di Spagna,at the beginning of theValtellina and Valchiavennaand the mountains that surround it. You can go on a fascinating walk on the beach of Lake Como in all seasons or follow the numerous paths that lead to the mountains enjoying breathtaking views.

• The structure also has two brick stables with 25 boxes. Furthermore, in the numerous external paddocks with "sheds", the horses will be able to spend their days outdoors!
