Our aim is to make the expertise of experienced  mountaineers availble to everyone. These skills are not taught, they are aquired over time. We can deliver training to support your individual expeditions, we can train you to nationally recognised standards.

Addventure Awards are licensed to work with young people outdoors. All staff are qualified ,experienced  Mountain Leaders, with enhanced CRB clearence and Outdoor first aid qualified.

We are Approved Activity Providers and Accredited Assessors for the Duke of Edinburgh Award - expedition section

All First Aid training is delivered to the Scottish Qualification Authority syllabus, through the awarding body ITC First Aid Ltd.

National Navigation Awards Scheme (all levels) can be delivered to groups, plus the Young Navigator scheme for children.

We can provide Walking Group Leader and Summer Mountain Leader courses for small groups upon specific request.

On site / off site / team-building events are available for young people and teenagers.

We are licensed to operate nationally within the UK, all year round - this is due entirley to the expertise of our qualified staff !

All our overseas expeditions are accompanied by International Mountain Leaders based in the UK

If you are looking for training in leading your own hiking expeditions we host the the Mountain Leader Award, course that will teach you how to prepare for and execute safe and enjoyable expeditions into the more remote parts of the United Kingdom over a 6 day course.

If you just want to get out and about for the day we can plan a day or more hike for you, or simply provide support and training on certain aspects of outdoor adventure.
