At Alpinism and Something More we do not want to put limits on your snowshoe expeditions. Therefore, in addition to guiding you through the mountains of Huesca, as specialized guides in the Pineta Valley, we expand our portfolio of adventures with excursions in other parts of the peninsula. Some of these are:

- The Sierra de Guadarrama: is a type of route that allows the participation of both adults and children. We will move through the landscapes of the Seven Peaks and contemplate the forests made up of pine trees that will make us quickly identify the Valsaín area.

- Pineta Valley: within the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, these are outings for which we will have prior preparation to allow us to face the crests of this frozen valley. We will usually spend 3 days traveling, executing the expedition in several sections and staying overnight in a mountain refuge.

- Ascension to Peñalara: we return to the center of the peninsula to depart from Puerto de Cotos on a walk whose departure we usually set at 8 am. We will follow a path that will take us through these spaces until 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

WithAlpinismo y Algo Más you can go ski touring using the breadth of technical knowledge we have about the Pineta Valley and other environments.

One of the ways in which we intend to contribute to the dissemination of this discipline is by participating in the Traversing Ski Stage that takes place in Bielsa. In this program we offer you our professional attention with the proposal of more than a dozen itineraries to undertake from the meeting point set by the organization in the town:

- Pineta Valley: those who want to ski through this specific area will face the route through Puerto de la Lera.

- Chisagües Valley: in this case we will advance with skis through Chinipro, we will approach Peña Blanca taking it through Borda Brune and we will continue through Robiñera.

- Barrosa Valley: it allows us to reach its most notable peak through the pass of the same name, then descending it by direct route. The path continues through Robiñera and La Munia.

- Valle de la Pinarra: with the same beginning of the route as the previous itinerary but continuing through Pico de Puerto Viejo and Marioules.

In Alpinism and Something More we address the different forms of ascent with which it is possible to explore the peninsular peaks. One of them is through the via ferratas that dot our geography with different intensities and lengths.

We usually propose the Ferrata de Valdeón in the Picos de Europa, inside the Cantabrian Mountains. This activity has as its framework a complete trekking program whose walking section will be the one that brings us closer to the beginning of the equipped itinerary.

To do this ferrata we will meet the day before at noon to go to Majada de Remoña. On the following day we will be at the appropriate point for the approach to Cordiñanes from where we can begin the upward course. We will have to take into account that we are between a level of complexity classified as K4 that requires physical fitness in accordance with the difficulty that we are going to experience.

We will continue through Valdeón, experiencing slopes of around 300 meters entering through the Mirador del Tombo. One of the most popular points that we will find is its Tibetan bridge that exceeds thirty meters leaving the Cares riverbed below.
