We are an adventure sports company located in Llanberis, also known as Snowdon’s Village because it sits at the foot of the tallest mountain in England and Wales. The Snowdonia National Park, or Eryri in Welsh, is a landscape of mountains and rock, crashing streams and beautiful lakes. We run activities that take you to every corner of this landscape and let you feel the power of nature.

Our specialities include Climbing, Abseiling, Canoeing, Kayaking, Canyoning, Coasteering, Hiking, and Rafting. These activities run at our base at the Bryn Du Mountain Centre in Llanberis, the Padarn Watersports Centre on the shores of Llyn Padarn, or locations around the national park and North Wales Coast.

We work with small groups, like families or friendship groups, and larger parties. Hundreds of young people have enjoyed adventurous programmes of events with us and gone home with a new love for nature, and you're never too old for this kind of experience! Groups of adults are very welcome.

Boulder Adventures is situated in a great place to do some canyoning! Canyoning is a great sport, where you will leap into plunge pools, slide down natural waterfalls and swim and scramble among the rocks. You need to be prepared to get wet! This activity is only for groups with people aged 16 years and above.

Canyoning is sure to get your adrenaline pumping and get you active. After you are finished, you will want to do it again!

Boulder Adventures water centre, on the shore of the Llyn Padarn, is a great place in which to do some canoeing. You can do lots of different things during your time in the canoes. Some of the things that you can do are making a ‘raft’ with the canoes, play some games in the canoes, or just float along the water and enjoy the views. If you want, you can also learn some new canoeing skills that you can use later as well.

Boulder Adventures is located in a great place to do some coastering! Costeering is a great sport, and Boulder Adventures runs routes with on the coastline of Anglesy or on the Lleyn Peninula. You will swim through the ocean,  scramble among the rocks and over the cliffs, and jump off higher and higher cliffs into the waiting sea below! You need to be prepared to get wet!

Costeering is a great sport to try, and is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. After you are finished, you will want to do it again!

When the terrain gets tough, it can be best to take to the water.

At Boulder Adventures, we find Kayaking to be the best way of exploring Snowdonia National Park without having to worry about the rock faces, scree slopes and gorges of this mountainous park of North Wales. From our dedicated Llanberis watersports centre on the shores of the lake known in Welsh as Llyn Padar, we run kayaking tours and offer our watercraft for hire.

The landscape of Snowdonia was created by glaciation, that is, by glaciers carving valleys and gorges into the terrain during the last ice age. Today, there’s no ice (for most of the year) and the scars left by the glaciers are filled with water in the form of streams, rivers and lakes that are ideal for kayaking. We have single and double kayaks as well as sit on top (or open) models and enclosed models.

Our team of outdoor adventure guides is on hand to help you have the best kayaking experience possible. They can also tell you about our other activities which include watersports such as coasteering, canoeing and raft building, and mountaineering activities like climbing and abseiling.

As Boulder Adventures is situated in Snowdonia, North Wales, it is located in the perfect area to go on some great hikes. There are many different types of walk that you can go on, so all fitness levels are accounted for. Walks that you can do are;
