The Sant Cugat Mountaineering Club was conceived with the fundamental objective of promoting responsible practice of any of the sports modalities related to the mountains, always with maximum respect for the environment.

The section of the club that is dedicated to training in the field of climbing was born in 2005 in response to the great demand that exists in the field of training in the world of mountaineering in our country and specifically in Catalonia.< /p>

The training we offer to our students/friends aims to be comprehensive in all areas of the mountain, both in summer and winter, as shown in our range of courses, offered quarterly.

The range of activities at Sant Cugat Mountaineering Club related to the mountains is very varied:

• Training at the Josep Barbera CMSC climbing wall.
• School-age courses
• Personal training
• Mountain climbing school

The Sant Cugat Mountaineering Club Climbing has organized, throughout its 60 years of history, multiple events, both cultural and sporting, in the competitive field as well as in the amateur.

In our climbing school we have a professional team made up of qualified personnel with academic recognition from the main mountain federations and associations, both nationally and internationally, as well as working voluntarily for our club.

Our goal is to offer lovers of this sport comprehensive quality training throughout the year, as shown in our proposal for courses offered quarterly.

Sant Cugat Rocódromos Mountaineering Club offers you fabulous facilities where you can practice climbing and train in a pleasant environment and with all the services and comforts. All this in the center of the Barcelona town of Sant Cugat.

This fixed facility offers a total climbable area of more than 400 square meters, with 15 meetings and more than 30 different routes that cover all levels, from the most basic beginners to those designed for accomplished climbers looking to improve their training. We cover levels 4 to 7c/8a.

In our center we also have an outdoor area for practicing bouldering. This section Sant Cugat Mountaineering Club offers 45 square meters, with more than 500 holds, where you can comfortably practice this modality that has more followers in our country every day.
