We usually offer you two unique plans:

- Guided outings through the Montesinos Cave. Before you enter this natural cave, we will equip you with the essential caving material. You will discover a fascinating setting where one of the adventures of the character Don Quixote took place. There will also be time to learn about the most surprising testimonies of some ancient civilizations.

- Hiking through the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park. Walkers will get to know this beautiful protected place, discovering its Mediterranean flora and its aquatic fauna that lives in the lagoons that will surround you. We will do it following professional instructions to be able to reach those corners unknown to the public who are not used to walking through this area.

And if neither of these two plans catches your attention, we are able to organize your own getaway, both for groups and individuals, for the days and at the time you want.

Montesinos Cave takes you inside the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park. Visit one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Spain. To do this, we offer you different hiking routes.

Through these routes you will discover:

-The charm of a unique and protected natural area, considered one of the most emblematic humid spaces in Europe.

- The different aquatic birds that live in the lagoons, which serve as rest, food and shelter.

- The Mediterranean vegetation, where juniper and holm oak predominate, while in the valleys there is a predominance of elms and poplars.

- The fauna that is characterized by the combination of mammals, such as rabbits and foxes, with migratory birds such as the red duck.

Cueva de Montesinos wants you and your family to live a magical experience and enter the world of caving in the province of Albacete.
Inside this natural cave you can enjoy:
-A geological and natural wealth. Visitors will discover the universe of stalactites and stalagmites, geodes and other mineral outcrops.

- The ttestimony of ancient civilizations, immersing you in the stories that prehistoric, Iberian and Roman people lived.

- From the scenario of one of the adventures that the character Don Quixote lived, from one of the most emblematic works of Spain by the one-handed man from Lepanto, Miguel de Cervantes.

You don't have to worry about anything because you will be equipped with the necessary caving material and you will also have a professional team at your disposal, educated and eager to make your guided tour of the Montesinos Cave special.

You can also choose to have your guided tour dramatized. A good option to entertain the little ones or school groups. Or, if you are a foreign tourist, your visits can be adapted to several languages.

The Montesinos Cave team has prepared an alternative activity with which to obtain different perspectives of the Ruidera Lagoons. Our kayak excursions are aimed at seeing them both from their exterior and through their interior spaces between the water and the rock.

We go out on routes that are available at any time of the year, we will only have to adapt our way of dressing to the temperatures of the date we have chosen to do it. Under our clothes, or as the main garment in the warmer months, we will have to wear a swimsuit and booties if we have them. If not, we can always use shoes that hold well to the foot and we don't mind getting wet. We will protect ourselves with sun cream.

They will be expeditions of around 120 minutes in which both adults and children can participate. We establish two rates differentiated by age, considering minors those visitors who do not exceed 14 years of age. The material with which we will equip you, paddle and boat, will help you travel comfortably throughout the adventure.
