Mill on the Brue

Situated in South East Somerset, between Dorset and Wiltshire, Mill on the Brue Outdoor Activity Centre is two hours from London or only one hour from Bath and Bristol. And have specialised in making adventure a part of people’s lives since 1982 on our 23 acre centre.

We provide over 40 activites ranging from our 220 m zip wire, canoeing & rafting on the River Brue, to high ropes and tunnelling.  Each programme is individually written to the customers objectives whether it's a school residential trip or an adult team building event.  We pride ourselves in highly trained instructors who remain with the same group for their entire stay.

We use open canoes, perfect for training beginners and young people in an event that promotes water safety and, most importantly fun! Our experienced instructors are on hand to teach you all the skills you need to get the most out of your time on the water. We have a series of games and races to push your skills to the limit, or you can just paddle around the lakes, enjoying a tranquil day on the water.

Join Mill on the Brue Archery, and enjoy this time honoured, Olympic sport, even if you haven’t been training for the last 4 years! We can offer archery for groups of 10 or more an 1.5 introductory session and then move onto one of our other fantastic adventure activities..

Using our short range course, you will learn the basic skills of archery under cover with one of our experienced instructors. Archery is a sport of skill and focus, once we have taught you the skills you need you’ll be one step closer to hitting that bullseye! Once you have the basics down, we will introduce you to the real thrill in archery as you compete against your friends in a full blown archery tournament.

Mill on the Brue High Ropes boasts a 12 meter high ropes course with numerous elements which you can attempt separately or as a gauntlet designed to put you to the test!

The Burma Bridge, inclined logs, leaping from a 30ft log, fly the trapeze and climb Jacobs ladder, these obstacles will bring out your fears, and our safety harness and buddy system will help you overcome them! And of course at all times you will be supervised by our experienced and highly qualified instructors.
