Parque de Aventura Barrancas del Cobre

Copper Barrancas Adventure Park is one of the most important extreme activity complexes in the Mexican Republic as it takes advantage of the impressive geography of "El Divisadero" strong>, a station on the Pacific Train, the best known of all its stops.

The canopy circuit of the Copper Canyon Adventure Park is the most extreme in all of Mexico. Not only because it flies over the famous Creel ravines, but it also has the longest zip line lines that fly at the highest altitude. If you are an adventure lover, visiting this park and taking the tour is something you have to do at least once in your life.

The canopy tour is made up of 7 zip line lines of which the highest is at 400 meters high and another that measures up to 1100 meters in length, that is, more 1 kilometer of adrenaline at a speed of up to 110 km/h, almost like a car on the road.

If you still haven't decided to take the tour, you should know that to this we have to add 2 hanging bridges strategically placed between the zip lines. The bridges will give you a different perspective of the canyon since when you cross them you will be really aware of the height at which you are suspended above the ground.

The first challenge to overcome on this exciting Via Ferrata is a rappel to the ferrata area, a rope descent down the mountain with a rappelling technique up to 45 meters high.

To continue with the tour we are going to do the climbing traverse on the assembly that is installed in the rock of the mountain, adapting and overcoming each of the challenges that this circuit presents to you.

Before reaching the grotto, tied to a lifeline at all times, we will overcome several hanging bridges of different types. There is one that we call "Tarzan Step"which is one of the most exciting because it is like a jump. The one that will give you the most vertigo is a bridge that has 2 ropes, one for the feet and one for the hands.

At the end, to exit the Ferrata you will have to overcome a vertical climb until you reach the platform. Throughout the circuit you will be accompanied by professional guides who will teach you how to overcome each challenge.
