El Mirador Ecological Ranch is an eco-tourism complex that is located in the municipality of Acajate, on the eastern slope of the mountain from Cofre de Perote, in the state of Veracruz.
The ranch contains an entire beautifulmountain ecosystem, rich in flora and fauna, where you can find white-tailed deer, mouflon sheep and a rabbit farm. In addition, this rustic-style complex has 6 family cabins and a lodge with capacity for up to 60 people.
El Mirador Ecological Ranch has more than 100 hectares of surface area, ideal for walking, swimming in the "Agua del Conejo" spring, perform spelunking in underground tunnels and fly on a zip line.
This project of cabins and sports activities rescued an old viewpoint abandoned in 1994 that was in very poor condition due to clandestine logging. Currently, the El Mirador Ecological Ranch project consists of reorganizing the place with a rational and scientific use of its resources and with a reforestation program.
