We assure you that the simplicity of the stretch covered and the immediate learning of the paddling technique allow everyone to both have fun and spend the day in maximum safety. The canoe descent has as its backdrop the Nera river in its stretch between Ferentillo and the town of Arrone, the arrival point and lawn of the school center on which Umbria Experience is based.

A guided excursion of approximately 4 kilometers that will end comfortably at the venue, so that you can immediately find a hot shower and a structure open to pleasant moments in company, such as a nice barbecue or lunch.

You will be the protagonist of a guided excursion which represents a different and fun way to rediscover the river and its environment.

The Arrone office belongs to the well-trained group of the Terni Canoe Center which will guide all phases of your activity with the great competence and professionalism that has always distinguished its instructors.

Umbria Experience Canyoning offers you a different experience to liven up your holidays or free time: canyoning in the surrounding environment of the Marmore Falls!

The canyoning descents that Umbria Experience offers you are of different types and include different aspects of the practice of canyoning: from basic descents to abseiling, from canyons without water to routes that involve swimming parts.

When going down, if necessary, ropes are also used, the management of which in absolute safety remains the sole responsibility of the guide.

However, a common characteristic of all the descents is being totally immersed in an uncontaminated natural environment, inaccessible to normal tourist flows: an absolutely spectacular environment.

Umbria Experience invites you to experience on board the raft one of the most passionate sections of the Nera river for this sport, which is located downstream from the highest waterfall in Europe, the Marmore waterfall.

In this stretch the river travels quickly due to the currents and, thanks to rocks and differences in level, it creates rapids up to the fourth degree (the rapids are calculated on a scale of levels that starts from level 1 and reaches level 6).

It is important to point out that no particular experience or skills are required to engage in rafting, except the ability to swim, which is essential, and normal-good health conditions.
The equipment and clothing are provided by the Rafting Center.

Furthermore, we assure you of the presence for our descents, on each dinghy, of a guide authorized by the F.I.Raft (Italian Rafting Association) who will manage the crew, of a maximum of six participants, during the hour in which we will be engaged in the water .

Umbria Experience Rafting also has a variant: soft rafting.
This second type of aquatic discipline is open to everyone, even children and those who cannot swim. in this case the descent is organized in the Nera River Park, in an easy-to-follow stretch of the river about five km long.

All river rafting excursions are managed by the qualified staff of the Le Marmore Centre, certified instructors and guides.

Umbria Experience Hydrospeed offers you the opportunity to try this new discipline in the most impressive waterways of Umbria, in the stretch of the Nera river that flows at the base of the Marmore Falls!

Hydrospeed allows you to experience an exciting adventure in the water but in a new way, distinct from other sports that challenge the current, such as, for example, rafting, as it allows you to be autonomous in managing your own descent.

The activities will be carried out thanks to the management of the Centro Le Marmore staff, who will also provide you with everything you need for the activity, from the wetsuit to the fins, as well as, obviously, the bobsled which is used to tackle the rapids of the river.

It is not a sport of great difficulty nor does it require great strength or training to be practiced, the water lines will transport you, we will teach you how to use them correctly, for a fun and absolutely "safe" descent.
Organized Hydrospeed descents last approximately two hours; the only essential condition for making the descent is the ability to swim.

For all enthusiasts of this sporting-scientific field, we have created a series of exploratory routes that move along ravines, or deep inside fascinating caves and karst-type cavities.

From the simplest to those requiring rope descents or more demanding passages, located, as in most of the events of this type present in the Marmore area, close to intensely urbanized areas.

The excursions are open from ten years of age, clearly accompanied) and can be carried out by anyone in good physical condition.

In the more technically demanding passages it may be necessary to move using the rope, which will always be managed by a qualified guide.

All clothing and technical equipment are provided by the organization.

You will have a men's/women's changing room with hot showers, a mountain bike wash, a small emergency workshop, a storage room for equipment, a park on the banks of the Nera river complete with tables, fireplaces and bars, as well as a Beach Volleyball.

Umbria Experience Adventure Parks invites you to discover all the activities promoted and designed for you in the Nahar Park! This is the first operational structure in Umbria about 8 kilometers from the Marmore Falls in Valnerina inside the Nera River Park.

Adventure trails and tarzaning are a widely practiced sport in Europe and are starting to become a consolidated reality in our territory too, thanks also to the wealth of environments suitable for establishing the practice.

The physical and psychological advantage of an activity such as the acrobatic course is that of having a widespread action in the development of the ability to concentrate and in the sense of balance even on subjects who do not have training or particular physical prowess at the moment in which they compare with practice.

The park is located in Terni and has three routes:

• Briefing course - designed for absolute beginners, it allows you to practice with the various tools at a basic level. The instructors follow you along the route to show you how to tackle the tests, a fundamental moment that will be useful in subsequent routes, when the instructors will monitor you but from the ground.
• Yellow Route - for children or adults (very simple) - is a particularly fun route that does not involve difficult passages,
• Brown route "Sensations" - more complex and with a higher height from the ground.

In Castelluccio there is a well-known paragliding school that has been operating in the area for years to spread the passion for this sport. We are talking about free flight, a beautiful activity that will help you get rid of stress and relax. In fact, flying is something that cannot be explained in words, it is only to be experienced 100%!

For about 25 years in Castelluccio di Norcia there has been a national free flight school that is completely dedicated to this discipline and which organizes paragliding courses. This activity is present in the tandem option, that is the tandem flight in which you will be accompanied by a highly qualified and experienced pilot. The paraglider takes advantage of the updrafts of the wind and is a safe means that is maneuvered directly by the pilot. If you have never experienced the thrill of free flight, now is your moment!
