Tips if you are going to do Scuba Diving in Mexico

Explore up to the place you never imagine to reach, with scuba diving you can discover the impressive and mysterious marine world, observing different species that live in the depths or carry out tours next to wrecked ships. To enjoy this sport is necessary to take a course in case this is your first place, the one you can carry out for several hours and obtain a scuba diving degree.

1. Discover the marine life



In Mexico, e have a great variety of species that can be observed with going scuba diving, in fact, some of them are endemic and can only be found in these coasts. Among the species we can see, are the rainbow parrot fish, the seahorse, the butterfly fish, the loggerhead turtle, the whale shark, the cat shark, the bull shark, among others.

2. Easy to practice



Lose fear and go for a scuba diving session, this is a unique experience that has to be carried out for at least once in a lifetime. There exist several scuba diving levels, based on the depth and challenges that can be found in the zone, but if you are beginners or is your first time, we can say that in the majority, or almost all scuba diving agencies, you can take the course to be able to dive to the sea depths, it consists of a class usually in a pool, in which they teach you how to handle oxygen and breathing, as well as the communication that is handled with signals. Then you will be ready!

The scuba diving sport is an excellent option to enjoy in Mexico since you can find it almost all over the country, starting in Yucatán, where it can be enjoyed in more than 3 thousand different cenotes only in this state, it also has reefs and islands in the area of Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. You also find the activity in Acapulco and Veracruz, so for those who are near the capital, or in the north, you have the whole Cortés Sea, from South Baja California, up to North Baja California.

4. Everyone can practice it



This sport can be practiced by everyone, the children from the age of 8, starting with a 4-meter in depth immersions and once you have all the instructions dominated, you can carry out the scuba dive in the sea. The people with disabilities can do enjoy it, in fact, can even serve as a therapy. Pregnant women can not scuba dive, unless it is proven that it may affect, experts recommend for the safety of the mother and baby, that it is not practiced in this period.
