See the world like you never have before – from underwater. Diving is a truly unique experience that leaves even the strongest of hearts touched. It’s incredible how in this world you can experience something so alien; akin to being in space, right at your doorstep. To show you just how special an experience it really is, we’ve listed the top 5 reasons why you should go diving in the UK.

1. See all kinds of marine wildlife



The wildlife under the waves is like nothing you’ve ever seen; the amalgamation of different colours and the vast spectrum of organisms living there make for a truly stunning sight to behold. From the crustaceans on the sea floor to the gentle basking sharks of the open waters, when you go diving you enter their home you’ll be enveloped in their welcome, and experience nature from their perspective – there’s really nothing quite like it.

2. Swim without limits



Once you’ve got to grips with the equipment and techniques from the pre-dive briefing, you’ll be free to explore the sea as you see fit. Experience true freedom as you are free to move in every direction – almost as if there’s no gravity. When you’re traversing the deep blue, you’ll feel like you’re flying through the air, and the only thing keeping you grounded is glimpsing at the fishes and marine wildlife around you.

3. Learn something new



Diving is a skill not many people have; it’s not a well-known pastime around the UK, but we think that needs to change. When should I go Scuba Diving in the UK?
