Skydive Cinquale

Skydive Cinquale is a sports parachuting centre, located at the Marina di Massa airport. Due to its geographical position, between the Tyrrhenian coast and the Apuan Alps, it can be easily reached from the main holiday cities of Versilia.

In addition to the natural environment, the mild climate during the winter season allows the school to be operational throughout the year.

The Tandem jumps, carried out by the centre, are especially suitable for a non-professional public who wants to test themselves with a new experience.

Overall, each flight takes place over a period of one hour and consists of a series of steps:

•Theoretical introduction. You will be given a lesson lasting a few minutes in order to instruct the student on the positions to maintain during free fall and landing.

• Helicopter trip. You will then board the aircraft and fly for approximately 15 minutes. It is at this moment that you will be secured to the harness of a specialized instructor.

• Free Fall. Only once the altitude of 4000 meters has been reached will the actual jump take place.

• Parachute opening and landing. Having descended to a height of 1500 meters with a speed of 200 km/h, the teacher will manually activate the parachute.
With the canopy open, you will glide gently until landing, admiring the splendid view of the landscape from above.
