The Rodeira Nautical Club was born in 1982 at the hands of some friends who loved their town, the sea and nautical sports. The fundamental objective of our statute is to make the most of the characteristics that our population has, in order to promote tourism in Cangas and practice water sports such as canoeing, sailing or rowing.
The activities we carry out are directed by our qualified monitors, experts in each of the activities. It is not necessary for participants to have any type of experience, since we will have different courses with various levels. We also carry out individual classes so the student will learn everything about sports practice, and it will always be at the pace that the student wants to set.
At the beginning of the activities, there will be some small theoretical classes in which our instructors will teach you the most basic movements in nautical sports, the key techniques to be an expert in the sport. If you have any knowledge about any of the sports we practice, our instructors will help you perfect your movements on the water.
Furthermore, at Rodeira Náutico we have activities for any age, which is why we organize urban camps during the school holidays. They will have all kinds of activities on the sea, all of them supervised and guided by our qualified instructors. Children will be able to enjoy their vacations in the most original way. They will also learn and practice unique sports, accompanied by other children their age. We will promote sportsmanship and social relationships among the various participants.
Furthermore, from the Rodeira Náutico club we can help you carry out any aspect of tourism in our city of Cangas, belonging to the province of Pontevedra. We will organize itineraries for you that will pass through the most emblematic areas of the town, with the aim of making your stay in the city an unforgettable experience.
