If you are passionate about animals, do not hesitate to come to Barcelona Zoo. Our collection covers more than 100 different species of animals and more than 50 species of plants coming from all parts of the world among which you will find the Ginkgo, the Cóculus, the Sago Palm, the Japanese Acacia, the Ombú or the Combretum.
We have a large area for reptiles where you will find the Komodo Dragon, the African Spur Tortoise or the Siamese Crocodile, among others.
On the other hand, you will meet mammals such as the Guanaco, the Pygmy Hippopotamus, the Lion or the Red Panda. Birds >like the Egyptian Vulture, the Humboldt Booby or the Black Vulture; and finally, amphibians like the Montseny newt.
In addition, at Barcelona Zoo, we have a series of areas among which you will find the terrarium, the aviary, the marmosets or the Biodiversity Garden.
All our animals are located in areas specially designed for them, so that they are comfortably located. All facilities are adequately conditioned to house each of the species we have.
On the other hand, for your comfort and that of your loved ones, we have a wide variety of restaurants, as exploring this zoo will leave you breathless.
In addition, we have an area reserved for the entertainment of the little ones as well as educational workshops for them. Accthat for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair service.
Among the activities offered at the zoo, there is the performing of a show, in order to teach in an enjoyable and entertaining way, notions about the species, the nature and the importance of the preservation of both.
We have a souvenir shop so you can take home a souvenir of this wonderful experience, as well as a free lockers service, medical service or picnic areas.
